How to Manage Your Listings: Editing, Updating, and Deleting

A listing rarely stays perfect from the moment you publish it — prices need adjusting, details change, and sold items need to come down. Here's how to keep your listings accurate and working for you.

Editing a listing

From your listings section, you can update the price, description, photos, and other details on an existing listing at any time. This is worth doing whenever something changes — a price drop, an item now including extra accessories, or a correction to a detail you got wrong the first time.

Why keeping listings updated helps visibility

Beyond just accuracy, updating a stale listing can help it resurface to buyers who've already browsed your category, since recently-updated listings tend to get more attention than ones that have sat unchanged for weeks. If something isn't selling, revisiting the price or description is often more effective than waiting it out.

Deleting a listing

Once an item is sold or no longer available, delete the listing promptly. This keeps your profile accurate for buyers browsing your other listings, and prevents wasted messages from people interested in something that's no longer available. Deletion is straightforward from your listings management page and takes effect immediately.

A quick habit worth building

After each sale, take thirty seconds to remove the listing rather than letting it linger — it's a small thing, but it keeps the whole marketplace more accurate for everyone browsing it, and keeps your own account looking active and well-maintained to future buyers.
