Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your Kaubaplats account and personal data at any time, whether you signed up with a password, Google, or Facebook.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself

Log in to your Kaubaplats account.
Go to Settings, then find "Delete Account".
Enter your account password (and your 2FA code, if enabled) and confirm the deletion. Your account and personal data are permanently removed.

This works in the Kaubaplats mobile app (Settings → Delete account) and on the website. It requires your account password. If you signed up only with Google or Facebook and never set a password, use Option 2.

Option 2 — Request it by email

If you can't log in, have no password, or want your data removed without visiting the site, email us from the address registered on your account and we'll delete it for you: abi@kaubaplats.ee

Include your username so we can find the account. We'll confirm once your data has been deleted.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, phone, avatar, date of birth, identity data), company details and account settings
Your email address, username and password, and any Google/Facebook sign-in link — replaced with anonymous placeholders
All classifieds you posted, with their photos, translations and statistics
All files you uploaded
Login history (IP address, location, device), price alerts, AI photo generation history and login sessions
Ratings/feedback other users left about you, and your push notification token
Your delivery deposit contact details (name, phone, email, comment)

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no refund for unused paid services or coins.

What is kept, and for how long

Payment and purchase records (card/bank payments, Google Play coin purchases, purchased packages, delivery deposit transaction records without your contact details): kept for 7 years because accounting law requires it. After deletion they are linked only to an anonymous placeholder account, not to your name or email.
Messages and offers you sent to other users: they remain in the other person's conversation history, shown as coming from a deleted user. They are kept for as long as that conversation exists.
Ratings you gave other users and reports you filed: kept without any link to you.
The anonymous placeholder account (an ID number with a placeholder email and username, no personal details): kept so the records above stay consistent.
